I help at least 2 people a week in private with storymode modding, and have no problem making this work. 1's on end of versions, use old versions instead of downloading newest, install a bunch of stuff with no testing and something had an old version, make backups/rollback with ragehook and not use- or use old versions, or not update, have corrupt files, have 2-3-4 copies of modded gtav's and were modifying the wrong one.
